Our Visual Arts Department provides a Christ-Centered Innovative 21st Century world-class professional studio arts education; as well as promoting our students life-long love for the arts. Our curriculum values process over product and teaches technical skills that cultivates creative intellectual thinkers within the framework of studio practice, strong work ethic, students develop skills to articulate their ideas; process and are encouraged to become self-directed in pursuing their personal subject and concept areas in their work.
Our students sequentially investigate and build upon the elements of art and principles of design in an environment that embraces positive learning engagements; multi-disciplinary approaches to visual spatial analysis, developing an higher-level design thinking/problem solving strategies while allowing them the opportunity for personal creative expression through a variety of conceptual approaches. The terms are taught as a visual vocabulary for students to use when planning, discussing, writing about, analyzing and describing their own artwork as well as that of other artists.
Inside our professionally run studio/classroom all courses enable students to build fundamental knowledge and skill-sets in a variety of techniques, from sketching, painting, mixed-media, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, digital photography, graphic design, architecture, AP Studio Art 2D, 3D and AP Art History. Additionally, students creatively produce monthly “Culture of Life” Visual Arts assignments.
It is our privilege to help inspire and cultivate the GOD given talents of the young people entering the doors of our studio/classroom so they may use their gifts serving Christ for life while making a difference for eternity.

The theatre program has expanded to include four years of instruction and the theater department offers additional enrichment courses in diverse topics including; Stage Management, Musical Theatre, and Theatre Shakespeare. Additionally, the theater department now produces two mainstage productions a year which are open to the public and, this year, will strive to compete in a One Act Competition. The Theatre II class hosts an evening of student-directed ten minute plays in the fall and the spring.
