Pastoral Care
Located within the parish boundaries of Saint Patrick Catholic Church, Saint Michael the
Archangel High School is under the immediate pastoral care of Father John Ziegler and overall pastoral care of the Most Reverend Paul S. Loverde, Bishop of Arlington. The school also enjoys pastoral support, with the permission and approval of Father Ziegler, from the following area parishes: Saint Matthew and Saint Jude in Spotsylvania, Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Fredericksburg, and Saint Anthony Mission Church in King George, VA.
Father Peter Reynierse, a retired priest from the Archdiocese of Washington, DC, serves as the school’s chaplain and celebrates the majority of the masses held at the school. He was first granted faculties and permission to minister in the Diocese of Arlington on October 23, 2009, and his faculties and permission were renewed on October 5, 2010. Father Reynierse also assists with the liturgical duties at Saint Jude and Saint Patrick.

The mission of Saint Michael the Archangel High School is to prepare each student to lead an exemplary Christian life through the development of his or her full academic, spiritual, moral, artistic, and athletic potential.
