Mission
The mission of Saint Michael the Archangel High School is to prepare each student to lead an exemplary Christian life through the development of his or her full academic, spiritual, moral, artistic, and athletic potential.
Vision
Our vision is to provide academic programs that are personally challenging, classically college preparatory, and comprehensive. Our talented faculty is committed to preparing our students to succeed in college and in life. As such, St. Michael the Archangel High School is dedicated to the following:
- fostering Christian values through example, course work, and attendance at Mass;
- nurturing intellect by providing a rigorous academic environment that cultivates critical thinking and communication skills; and
- shaping character through service projects, and a student-monitored honor code.
General Overview
Saint Michael the Archangel High School offers wide-range of science, mathematics, English, foreign language, and history courses, including several honors and Advanced Placement (AP) sections. Several courses prepare students to sit for AP exams at the conclusion of each academic year. Sacred studies courses, with an emphasis on moral theology and apologetics, deepen students’ understanding of their faith and prepare them to live and defend it when they go out into the world. In addition, St. Michael offers courses in art, drama and physical education.
